What does the Reebok Nano 8.0 look like?
As you can see from the images the Reebok Nano 8.0 takes heavy influence from the Nano 7 weaves, released earlier this year. The weave material runs from the heel to the the toe, which could suggest a far more flexible Nano this time round.
Another new addition is the flexible collar on the heel, which should increase comfort and prevent rubbing or the show digging into the ankle which some users experienced with the 7.0.
Reebok Nano Past Release Dates
As we await the release of the Reebok Nano 8.0 lets take a look back at release dates of the past iterations of the CrossFit trainer
Nano 1.0 – June 2011
Nano 2.0 – June 2nd 2012
Nano 3.0 – July 1st 2013
Nano 4.0 – July 11th 2014
Nano 5.0 – June 25th 2015
Nano 6.0 – July 7th 2016
Nano 7.0 – January 4th 2017
Up until the release of the Reebok Nano 7.0 the trainer had always previously been released in summer (June and July) ahead of the yearly CrossFit Games, however in 2017 the Nano 7.0 saw a much earlier release at the start of year. The earlier release date is likely an attempt to counter competition from Nike’s Metcon trainer that historically sees a release by the end of the year.
