Nike first stepped into the Crossfit trainer arena in January 2015 with the Nike Metcon 1, just over a year later Nike released the Metcon 2 in February 2016, now all eyes are looking forward the Nike Metcon 3 release.
Metcon’s are designed to be durable enough to withstand the demands of high intensity workouts and versatile enough to support athletes across a range of different movements including lifting, running, jumping and cutting.

Nike Metcon 3 Release Date
The exact release date of the Nike Metcon 3 has yet to be confirmed but my sources tell me we are again looking at an early 2017 release date. If the release of the Metcon 1’s and Metcon 2’s is anything to go by we should be seeing the Metcon 3 hit our shelves at the end of January 2017. What do they look like?
Despite not yet being released we’ve had an early look at the new designs. It looks like there are bigger changed from the Metcon 2 to 3 than there was between the first two releases. Although retaining a similar look and feel, they now feature a seamless mesh upper with a new approach to the sole, check them out below.
